Maoriland festival 2021

 On the 25th of March all the year 7,8 and 9 classes went down to the memorial hall to go to the Maori land festival. All the classes lined up then filed into the hall, we sat down then some girls spoke up the front. We sat there and watched some very boring films, they were all about cultures and stuff like that but no one enjoyed it. I didn't enjoy the film because they weren't interesting and when I went outside it was so bright, I talked to my friends and they didn't enjoy it either. We all walked back to the school and the next day (today) we had to write about it.

Friday 26th February 2021

This week was a bit eh.

I can't really remember what I did exactly during the start of the week but i'll just write about what I've done in each subject and option.

Well for English we have just been doing some kinda booklet things, we basically just had to read a story. After reading the story we would answer questions. We did some things on education perfect and a punctuation test on there as well. 

In science we just did boring stuff like graphs then on Wednesday we did this balloon thingy. So basically we each got a balloon to blow up then we put it under an upside down table and we got as many people as we could to go on top. On our first time they all popped and it was so satisfying but the second time we got to fit 10 people on and off the table. 

Maths hasn't been to fun, we have just been doing stuff with numbers, first we learnt how to multiply big numbers with a punnet square thing. After doing that for two days we learnt how to multiply heaps of numbers basically, here's an example: 12-(6x4)+8= 

In physical education we have just been doing multi sports a lot, it has been really fun and enjoyable but it is getting kinda old.

Health is kinda boring apart from the fact that I sit next to my friends and get to talk to them. We have made paper houses with writing on them, wasn't the funnest but what can I do about that.

Japanese is actually one of my favourite options at the moment, its really fun and I have some friends in the class. first we learnt about numbers which wasn't to hard, after that we learnt about greetings so now I know how to greet people in different ways at different times of the day. Just yesterday we started learning about letters or words i'm not to sure.

Ctg is all goods but the Teacher is a bit of a bum, we have been making jewellery boxes but mines not that good.

Curious cove camp- Challenge 6

 My favourite thing about camp was going on the hike to Motuara island and Ships cove. It was so much fun Walking to the waterfall and finding crabs at ships cove, I also liked looking at the cannon.

I didn't really enjoy/ my east favourite part of camp was probably how long breakfast and dinner took because they took a long time. I also didn't really enjoy how much it rained and I wish it was sunny when we went but sadly I couldn't change that.

Board game- Brain Masters

On Monday Last week (16th November 2020) our class got into groups and we had to make a board game. I was in a group with Dayna, Selena, Ella and Tara, our game was a game of dares I guess you could say. It was pretty easy to make and the rules were easy to follow and understand. We made counters got two dice and made a board to play on, The counters are made out of two pieces of card and sellotape. We got given a list of what needed to be on our board game, the list is- 

-Give your game a name

-Instructions are simple and easy to follow

-Rules are clear for the players to understand

-Equipment is listed for your game

-Game presentation looks 100%

-Is it Fun

-2-6 players

-The game must be ready to play on Friday 27/11/20.

Our game turned out really well and I am proud of what we did!

What I want to be in 10 years time

 In ten years time I want to be working with the police department because it looks and sounds fun. I think it would be good for me as well, even though it would take a lot of training I would still want to do it.

Managing self form

 I am fine with the managing self form because it asks good questions and they are easy to answer.
